THE Ten PLUS Humanitarian Foundation (TTPHF) SHALL ALSO BE KNOWN AND ADDRESSED AS “THE TEN PLUS”

Our Vision

To facilitate processes that will guaranty quality and productive life of indigent children.

Our Aim

To ensure robust protection against child abuse, a holistic approach is imperative. This involves community engagement, educational programs, early intervention, and legal reinforcement to safeguard our children effectively.

Our Objectives

  • To promote and raise synergy in the area of child’s protection and safety, home and abroad.

  • To partner/collaborate with local and international non-governmental organizations in the protection and fostering the rights of vulnerable children.

  • To raise advocacy for child’s rights, security and against all forms of molestations, abuse, trafficking and threats.

  • To raise advocacy on enabling laws in the interest of the vulnerable children.

  • To offer charity, especially to the vulnerable children.

  • To advocate against those variables which place children on the risk of vulnerability including but not limited to the following: conflicts, unemployment, poverty, epidemics, broken marriages, undemocratic forces, child-soldiering, child marriages.

  • To increase awareness and enlighten the general populace on the rights of the vulnerable children.

  • To promote and improve access to food, shelter, health care and educational services among the vulnerable children.

Our Interface

Predominantly, the foundation promotes ideas which seek to reduce certain variables that engender vulnerability in children.

There are many of such limiting influencers like increasing illiteracy, hunger, malnutrition, diseases, displacement, disasters (man or nature), environmental hazards, early deaths of parents, socio-cultural and traditional pactices, early child marriage, absence of sustainable healthcare.

In the cause of field work, the foundation discovers a few children with certain challenges and not often noticed by care providers. There are such cases linked with withdrawal syndromes, intense obsession, intrusions, fear, depression, hallucinations, nightmares, inferiority and complex issues among children.

These discoveries increased the foundation drive in partnering with identified humanitarian operators local and international stakeholders and firmly based on capacity for delivery and capabilities for interventions.

If efforts are keyed into reducing those variables (supra), which exacerbate vulnerability, the child will seamlessly mainstream, and in no sooner than later, and without let or hinderance becomes positive drivers of their future and system.

All this forms one of the foundation major mantras, ‘save the child first’.

Our Mission

Addressing the diverse needs of children, including access to education, healthcare, nourishment, and stable living conditions.
